- Mega Apocalypse -

I'm sure most of you have heard of asteroids, a game in which you pilot a spacecraft and asteroids keep coming at you. You can shoot them but they will break up into more pieces and you will have to keep shooting them until they are small enough so that they explode.

Mega apocalypse follows precisely the same formula, the craft you pilot can be moved around the screen in any direction but you can also rotate it so that you can shoot in another direction as you only have a single canon in the nose of the ship. Asteroids can move into the screen from any direction but unlike the other game will not go in a straight line as they can bounce around making it more difficult to predict their movements. You can shoot the big ones because they can easily hit you with their size but having too many small ones on screen is also difficult since you have to dodge a lot of them. It's up to you how you want to play.

Mega apocalypse is a fancy name but it doesn't change the fact that it is basically an asteroids clone. There isn't much of a change in gameplay and since each level is really the same as the previous one there isn't really a way to beat the game as far as I know. You can check out the game for some pure nostalgia but I don't think the game will last very long once you do.

Overal rating: 6/10
