- IQ -

IQ is a puzzle game unlike any I've seen before, the playing field consists of dots along which you can travel. Each line that has been travelled upon will be colored in and can't be used again, since each dot has six lines radiating outwards you can change direction a lot of times. The object is to color all six lines of a dot which earns you a point. When you can no longer draw a line because simply the board is full your way is blocked by other lines you can no longer participate. When all players can no longer move the game stops, whoever has the most points wins the game. If this sounds kinda weird that's because it is, the game can't easily be described.

IQ is a game I never heard of before and I can understand why after playing it, the object of the game is completely unknown unless you read the (very short) manual. Even then the game only consists of a single level and there is no reward or anything when you win, the game simply ends. I feel this is a game that was released as more of a showcase for a somewhat simplistic a.i. and I have to admit it's interesting to watch for a while when you let the computer control all the players. I can't really say it's fun to play though and the lack of levels and rewards is a major letdown so only try it if you're in for a really weird puzzle game.

Overal rating: 3/10

If you wanna watch the computer play against itself you can set the speed real high and see what kind of interesting figures it can make.
