- Vroom -

This game has to be a Formula-1 racing game with the tackiest name ever, I mean calling a game Vroom makes you think it's some kind of childs game or something. Actually the game tries to be a serious simulation of Formula-1 but it fails completely. For instance when you select simulation as the type of race and you crash into a tree you blow away your tire but after a second you are send back to the center of the track and you can simply drive on, not very realistic is it. There are some other options you can select like arcade race and pratice but the only difference I could tell is that you can select to race less laps or different controls.
The controls aren't any good either because in sim-mode you can only use the mouse to drive and you can't control the car properly like that.

This game really doesn't have any redeeming features it has bad controls, graphics that are nothing special and is generally not interesting. If it hadn't been for the title of the game I probably would have never noticed it among all the other games that I have. Ah well I guess when you collect games there are bound to be some like this.

Overal rating: 3/10

This game was released for two systems here are some notes:
Amiga Released in 1986.
Game has been tested but not completed with winUAE v0.9.91.
Atari ST Released in 1987.
Game has been tested but not completed with SainT v1.10.
MS-DOS Released in 1987.
For some reason when you play the game in Dosbox you cannot use the controls so play it in windows (without sound) or on a real DOS machine.
