- Quizmeister -
Quizmeister is basically a trivia game but is has some un usual categories like stage names and black history along with the usual tv and knowledge ones. There are nine categories in total but the cool thing is there is one called 'the gamers edge' where you have to answer question about classic games (back when it was released they were fairly new games). Question such as 'what was the original text adventure game for mainframes' and 'which company made the arcade version of teenage mutant ninja turtles' are there. Some of the questions ask about creators and such by name so unless you know these well I doubt you'll get a high score. After chosing which category you want to play in you can select to show the correct answers when you are wrong. You get to pick from a set number of answers usually four and if you get it correct you will get 10 points. A quiz has about 15 questions picked randomly but I don't know how many there are in total.

Normally I'm not into trivia but I found the gamer's edge category quite fun because it deals with what we now classify as abandonware. It's not easy either as unless you were there when it all began I doubt that you know the answer to many of the questions because some of them relate to games released in the early 80's. There are some problems with the game though as when finishing a quiz it tries to do something and the game stopped but ingame there is little that can go wrong. If you like trivia about older stuff you might try this game but anyone into old games should try the gamer's edge to test your knowledge about those oldies.

Overal rating: 6.5/10
