- Teen agent -

Teen agent lets you control a teenagers who is picked from the phonebook, taken from the streets and recruited to become a secret agent. As the intro shows a number of banks have been robbed lately and there is no clue as to how they are done as all the money and gold dissappeared right in front of the guards. You are now sent out to solve these robberies but first you'll have to get some training in the secret agent training camp.

The training camp is the first area of the game and you have to complete a number of tasks before you are allowed to go out. The only other people in the camp are a drill sergeant, a bartender and a guard. After getting to the sergeant he immediately gives you your first test and throws you in jail from which you have to try and escape. After that you have to interrogate the sergeant and also play a game of hide and seek. Inside the training camp there are a limited number of things to do and it eases you into the game and it's interface very nicely. After you complete the training you go off to explore a lead about a man who's spending large amounts of money and that is where your true adventure begins.

The game uses an easy to use point and click interface using only the left and right mouse buttons. The left is the examine button and the right is the interact button. Your inventory can be opened by simply clicking the left mouse button on the top of the screen and there are plenty of puzzles that have to be solved by combining objects. Many of the puzzles in the game aren't too difficult though if you take some time to think them through.

The graphics are pretty colorfull and fairly detailed but many of the animations look a bit crude. This doesn't really distract from the game though and some of them even add to the humor of the game which I think is pretty good. The music isn't bad either and there are pretty good tunes throughout the game. The rest of the game is enjoyable and the puzzles aren't too difficult so you will progress at a fair pace. This game was first released as shareware which only contained the training portion of the game but I'm pretty sure I read someplace that the entire game was now released as freeware. In any case this game should be in any adventuregame enthousiasts collection so if you haven't got it already be sure to get it now.
